Jean Kuty, LAc, LCPC
Jean Kuty is a graduate of the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Seattle, WA. She has earned a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture. Her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture was a three year graduate course with a 1,000 hour supervised internship, which included rotations at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, WA. Since 1997 she has been Nationally Certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Jean is officially licensed by the State of Idaho, Acupuncture Board of Licensing.
Jean is a member of the National Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Alliance and the Idaho Acupuncture Association. She has served as a Board Member for the Idaho State Acupuncture Licensing Board and worked at Idaho Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center, a chronic pain clinic, for five years.
Jean is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, Santa Barbara, CA, She is a member of the Idaho Mental Health Counselors Association. Jean is also a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider.
In addition to her private acupuncture and counseling practices, Jean currently serves as a Military and Family Life Consultant providing counseling and psycho-education to Active Service Members, National Guard and Reserve Components, their families, and Veterans. She has also provided counseling services to Community Partnerships of Idaho and Human Supports of Idaho.
Jean also has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Ohio University.
